K.A.C. 2023 - T - 22 Days ...

"I get it, Prancer, you hate that show-off Rudolph, but we're all supposed to be One Happy Family on these pages - Christmas Cheer, remember? OK, places, everyone!"

Sorry you had to see those behind-the-scenes tantrums, they're really the best of friends. Well (ahem), let's see what today's stocking has brought us, shall we?

Let's begin with 'Have Yourself A Cognitive Dissonance Christmas', the true tale of a Saucer Pickup on Christmas Eve ... and how Belief is put to the test.      Next up, the first of our Timeless Time-Outs (meaning an article not specifically set in this year, although 1954 is mentioned). Are you familiar with 'brag rags'? Oh, yes, you are - you may just not know them by that name - find out what they are more traditionally known as and who's responsible for them below:

From saucers to letters to ... GODZILLA! 'Santy Claws' debuts on November 3rd, 1954, in Tokyo and goes on to become an international sensation and one of the longest running film series in history. A number of families, especially in the New York City area, have an annual tradition of having a King Kong and Godzilla Movie Festival every year (Kong on Thanksgiving, Zilla on Black Friday), hoping to recreate their happy childhood memories (and continue the tradition for their kids!) when WOR-TV 9 held these each year from 1976 - '85. THIS was what signaled the beginning of the Holiday Season for so many kids back then - three links below explain the phenomenon:
