K.A.C. 2024 - T - 21 Days ...

1979 - Forget the Sonny and Cher Christmas Special, wipe your memories (and your tears) away from the Star Wars debacle and rejoice! There is only ONE TRUE Christmas Special you should see and it took place this year.

Gather your family, gather your friends, heck, gather perfect strangers off the street (and maybe lock the doors), get everyone settled in and turn off the lights. It only has ONE actual Christmas song in it, but once you see it (and the rest of the show), I guarantee you'll be playing it every year for those who pass the litmus test ... the Kate Bush 1979 Christmas Special, just called KATE. Here's what I want you to do: FIRST, since I'm at a loss for words on this one, read the article below to prepare you for what you're about to see (I bet the BBC wishes they had been able to do just that before approving it!), THEN AND ONLY THEN hit play on the link below and let this Surreal Snowball hit you like a ton of slush! With special guest Peter Gabriel and the STRANGEST choreography you'll see anywhere, this is one you'll go back to for YEARS to spring upon unsuspecting viewers. Tired of Rudolph, sick of the Grinch? Here you go! You can thank me later ... enjoy!

Since there's No Way I'm going to top that, I thought instead I'd combine it with this year's Kringle's Khristmas Kuties Kwiz. The hook this year (in a tip of the nose mask to Ms. Bush) is all of our featured players below were musical entertainers (note I'm NOT saying 'rock performers') at some time during the era we're covering this year (1976-1999). All you have to do is name them! NOT in our comments section - let others play, as well. Answers revealed tomorrow.
